Dr. John Lloyd holds a PhD in Ergonomics from Loughborough University, UK. He is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida, and a Senior Researcher for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Patient Safety Research Center in Tampa, Florida, where he serves on several federally-funded research projects. Dr. Lloyd serves on the VA National Ergonomics Committee as well as several VA Ergonomics task forces. His 15+ years of experience includes industry consulting for Fortune 500 companies as well as academic appointments. John has authored numerous book chapters, publications, open-literature articles and technical reports. He has served as an Expert on cases involving ergonomics and biomechanics for more than 12 years. Dr. Lloyd is Board Certified throughout the United States as a Certified Professional Ergonomist No. 725.
